After two long days of filming a short movie for school on Friday/Saturday, our Monday Class set off to go hiking at 9:00 in the morning to go "Camping" or so our teacher said.
We ventured into the mountains after taking a local train to the countryside of Kyoto.
From there we hiked a mere 18km up hill with minimal stops and occasional rain until we reached our destination. A small Japanese styled house/building/thingy.
Although we were mostly following a narrow road/path, the scenery was surprisingly beautiful.
A leech also managed to jump onto a 3 inch opening of exposed skin and suck as much of my blood as it pleased...
It was a first time experience for me. (hopefully the last as well)

No, these things just don't match well. No thanks.
I'm not fond of the sight of blood, and seeing my own blood is just... No.
Well, there was a lot of blood before I cleaned it, and my pant sleeves were rolled up as well so they didn't get really stained.
And of course being a leech, the blood flowing from the hole it made just kept going and going lol.
Hiking and constantly moving probably didn't help either lol.
Anyways, blood, leeches? Nope. No thanks.
And man... I didn't even feel the little bugger, I just looked down at my leg and saw blood. I was like "Hmm... I didn't fall or scrape up against anything.. weird? ... Oh no, that must mean?!"
So now I know leeches can also be found outside of water. Great...
